The true benefit of any goal, is not successfully accomplishing it (although it’s a very close second), but who you must become to achieve your desired goal.  If you set a goal to become a millionaire and you legitimately achieve it, then you could lose that million dollars, but still possess the knowledge and experience to make it happen again. Make a commitment to work harder on yourself than you do on your job or business.

First off, allow yourself to make mistakes. This one is tough for me since I’m such a perfectionist, but mistakes are part of the process of achieving success. Give yourself space to fail small and fail often. Second, use your temporarily failures as lessons and stepping stones towards your desired goal. Take the knowledge you’ve gained from past mistakes and invest that into making better future decisions and actions. Make the most from your “wealth of experience” which includes your successes and failures.

Dreaming about your definite goal is important, however, something more is necessary…behind your clear vision must be the action to realize your dreams. It’s up to you to get up and make it happen! 

You’re the captain of your own ship, so you have the power to set the direction towards your desired destination. Otherwise, you can drift along aimlessly or let others take control of the wheel. Ultimately, the success or failure you experience is your responsibility. Take control and steady your sails through the sudden storms and towards the sunny shores of success!

There is absolutely on reason why you shouldn’t be as financially wealthy as you want to be. Get crystal clear on your definite financial aim, develop your plan of action, and execute! Let this year be about increasing your financial literacy and making massive action towards your own financial success!

As we bring in the New Year, let’s commit to constant and never ending learning. Taking it a step further, let’s take action and apply what we learn, instead of staying on the sidelines with knowledge. What will you learn in the New Year to positively impact your life in 2019 and beyond?

Don’t be afraid to discuss the idea of money at the dinner table! Share your own experiences with money and ask questions to learn about how money circulates and accumulates. 

Money certainly serves its purpose in our society and since formal schooling doesn’t really teach us how to build wealth, then it’s up to us to invest the time to acquire the knowledge we need to achieve our goals. Master your money by making it a normal part of the conversation!

What path would you pursue if you had no fear of failure? We all possess a need to feel certain and secure, but the real transformation in our lives can only be found by exploring the path of uncertainty. Find a way to face fear in the face! If you choose to turn away, then ultimately, you’ll be turning your back on growth and other opportunities.

I truly feel so blessed to be surrounded by people doing great things, who I can support, and who support me in return! It’s important to have people in your life who believe in what you do but who are also willing to challenge you when necessary. Your road to success will certainly have its ups and downs, so having loving people in your life to celebrate and support will make all the difference!
